Jongleurs first opened its doors in February 1983 as a general talent and comedy club. Within a short space of time the product "Jongleurs" was refined to a distinct mix of comedy and popular cabaret using the best of the talent that was evolving at the time. The aim was to build up a reputation for providing consistently good shows and total quality entertainment. Jongleurs was again refined to ensure the use of the very best of the now large and growing comedy circuit. Jongleurs leads the field in the popular wave of comedy. This modern comedy appeals to a young audience who are socially active and frequently enjoy evenings both in and out with friends. There are over three thousand comedy performers working around the country today, Jongleurs books less than three hundred. These are the very cream of the crop within the British comedy circuit.
